What to Wear: Easter Sunday Outfit Ideas
By Janique

With Easter Sunday quickly approaching and the spring temperatures finally getting to a high of 50 degrees there is much to look forward to this Sunday. Easter Sunday or as many of the Christian faith calls it, Resurrection Sunday, is probably the most important day in Christianity besides the actual birth of Christ.

So to celebrate you must of course do it in style. Easter Sunday is also the day that it seems that everyone designates as the “Must Attend Church Day,” and so everyone brings out their Sunday’s Best. So here are a few outfit ideas for this celebration.

All of the outfits feature a specific trend for this season. Either florals, pastes, peplum, polka dot, or a mixed combination.

Evolution Of Justin Timberlake

Justin Randall Timberlake was born on January 31, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee. Raised a Baptist, Timberlake grew up singing in the church choir. From 1993 to 1995, he performed on The New Mickey Mouse Club, along with pop stars Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and JC Chasez. Afterward, Timberlake and Chasez, along with Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, formed the all-male singing group ‘N Sync. The boy band would go on to become one of the hottest pop groups of the 1990s, releasing No Strings Attached in 2000 and Celebrity in 2001.

Phase I: Boy Meets Band

At the dawn of ‘NSync’s No Strings Attached era, we find a young and impressionable JT. He has everything—a platinum-selling record, teenage biddies by the boatload, a puppet, bleached ramen noodle hair. Everything, and yet nothing at all.

Phase II: Nicely Requesting the Return of Sexy

Timberlake releases the excellent FutureSex/LoveSounds and stops looking like ‘NSync’s bitch. Yeah, the outfit’s a little baggy, but awesome in comparison to his decade of style ruin.

Phase III: Suck It Zuckerberg, I Am Sean Parker

Three years into his career transition, Timberlake shines in The Social Network. The acting upgrade coincides with a mini-style renaissance, hence the chunky rims and razor-sharp lapels. Shortly after, he voices Boo-Boo in Yogi Bear. Bold choices, JT, bold choices.

Justin loses the shades, adds a woman, and goes black-on-black-on-black-on-black. Yes, dude’s a veritable style ninja, but think about what happened last time he brought a date to an awards show. Wait, don’t, it burns.

BOOM! Timberlake announces his new album, The 20/20 Experience, and lets Tom Ford style the hell out of him. Well done, sir.

I started planning for KL Teen Pageants when I was 14 years old. My goal is to provide young ladies, in grades 6th – 9th grade, with things to do in their spare time instead of sitting at home or hanging out in the streets. I let them know it is okay to be different, they don’t have to be a follower, they can be a leader and still be popular.

My first pageant will be March 17, 2013 at the Latvian Center. Doors open at 3:30, the pageants starts at 4:00pm. If you live in the Indianapolis area please come out and support not only me but the girls who has worked hard to prepare for the pageant.

I am a Freshman in high school and loves to travel. My future college plans is to attend Howard University & major in Criminal Justice and Business. Wher I will work in the homicide unit in Washington DC.

In my spare time you can catch me on Twitter, Facebook or Texting. I am a very UNIQUE young lady and hope to share my special moments with others.

Motivational Monday…Robin Roberts!

No Reason To Complain</strong…she is enough to be motivation!

Last year was certainly a whirlwind for Good Morning America's Robin Roberts.

The morning-show anchor received a bone marrow transplant to treat a rare blood disorder, and just five months later returned to the air.

“This journey is as much about the mind as it is the body,” said Roberts, 51, sitting on a hospital bed and wearing a bright pink baseball cap.

“Your thoughts are so powerful. You’ve got to change the way you think in order to change the way you feel. And let me just say this lastly, I feel the love and I thank you for it.”

The transplant — in which liquefied bone marrow donated by her sister, Sally, was slowly injected through an intravenous drip — took place around 10 a.m. at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Before the transplant, Roberts’ doctor, Gail Roboz, said the beloved TV personality was bravely handling the grueling situation — which included eight days of intense chemotherapy to prepare for the treatment.

Roberts is suffering from myelodysplastic syndrome, a disorder spurred by her treatment for breast cancer last year.

According to the National Institutes of Health, approximately 18,000 people develop MDS each year — with several hundred of those cases resulting from cancer treatment. Robin Roberts spoke about how her battle with breast cancer has changed her in an interview with Ladies Home Journal.

The "Good Morning America" co-anchor was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. Since then, she has shared her experience with viewers, becoming a spokesperson for awareness. When asked if she ever worried that her cancer would take the spotlight rather than her journalistic accomplishments, Roberts insisted that she did not want cancer to define her. "That was one of the initial reasons I didn't want people to know about it — I didn't want it to be the focus of conversation," she recalled. "I wanted it to be a chapter in my life story, not my life story."

Roberts, who opened up about her experience in a PEOPLE cover story, will now be honored by fashion icon Diane Von Furstenberg at the fourth annual DVF Awards at the United Nations on April 5.

Furstenberg, with co-host Tina Brown of Newsweek and The Daily Beast, will present Roberts with the Lifetime Leadership Award.

The DVF Awards were created in 2010 by von Furstenberg and The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation to recognize and support women doing extraordinary work to transform the lives of other women.
