to Help Homeowners Avoid Foreclosure
A free event designed to educate homeowners about foreclosure prevention programs

Many homeowners in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas are struggling to make their mortgage payments. This free event will provide homeowners the opportunity to learn more about important programs designed to help them make their mortgage payments like Indiana’s Hardest Hit Fund. Homeowners may be eligible for assistance of up to $30,000 and free counseling to help avoid foreclosure.

Edna Martin Christian Center:
The Edna Martin Christian Center was established as the East Side Christian Center in 1941. A community activist, Ms. Edna Martin, began working with children after school in
the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood. In 1946 the Center become a home mission of the American Baptist Churches, USA. As a result of this affiliation, the services and programs of the center expanded to include social services to strengthen families in the neighborhood.
