Flava Fresh is an annual juried art exhibition series of fresh, contemporary art. The exhibition happens at many venues throughout the year, and GPAC is hosting the second in the series. Flava Fresh was created to bring about greater awareness, appreciation, inspiration, support, and exposure for local and regional visual artists – especially those who are newly-discovered, under-represented, emerging, women creatives, and artists of color.

This free exhibition will be on display for the public, August 1 – 29, 2015. GPAC is located at 2432 Conservatory Drive.

Indiana Moral Mondays

The IMM Indy HUB Gathering to be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon this Saturday, August 8th in the IEBW Union Hall at 1828 North Meridian will focus on the theme: A Call to Action. This will be a good meeting to bring guests and potential new Partner Organization leaders. A video of the IMM march to the Statehouse last September with words from Rev. Barber will be shown and actions for each of the six core issues will be developed. Following the HUB meeting there will be a Clean Power Party at the Statehouse, sponsored by some of our Partners, to celebrate the release of EPA’s new clean air regulations. All IMM members and guests are invited to attend the party in solidarity! To RSVP for the meeting, sign up here. We’ll see you there!

Forward Together,
