The 3C’s for Success….
The 3 C’s for Success are: Courage, Commitment, and Consistency. Do you have what it takes? What is holding you back? Let’s examine these individually.
Courage: When you first have the idea pop in your head that you want to start a business, you have to have the courage to take the leap and actually begin. Once you have the courage to join/start your company then you need courage to not give up when the going gets tough. And believe me, it’s not easy sailing when you own your own business. There are many bumps in the road. But you must be committed to your mission. We will talk about commitment next….
Commitment: Once you have the courage to start the journey, it is important that you make a commitment to not give up! You do this by making short term achievable goals towards your long term Dream Goal. If you do not have a vision for your business or define a mission statement, you will surely fail. You need to ask yourself, “Who am I fighting for?” “What is my definition of success?” And it is important to be very specific. Making statements such as, “I want financial freedom” is too broad. What does “financial freedom” look like to you? Write down these goals and sign them. This makes an official commitment to your business and holds yourself accountable. Some entrepreneurs find it helpful to have an accountability partner to help them stay focused and committed to their business goals. Do whatever it takes for you to stay on track! Commitment to your business is an absolute necessity in being successful!
Consistency: You’ve got the courage and you’ve made the commitment, but without consistency you won’t go far. Once you have your plan for working towards your goals you need to repeat these steps EVERYDAY! Consistency is key in branding yourself in the marketplace. If you are not getting your name out there everyday and sharing valuable content, your business will not grow because no one will know who you are! I say this all the time because it is such valuable advice, Plan your work and Work your plan! If you do this everyday then you will see the seeds that you are planting begin to grow your business in to a successful career!
