Jitterbug Juba Revue Spotlights Harlem Music Legends

The Asante Children’s Theatre of Indianapolis will present the annual fundraising event Legacy Cabaret IV, honoring  poet/playwright, Mari Evans on Thursday, September 24, 2015, 7:15 PM. The concept of the show is a classic Harlem nightclub presenting “The Jitterbug Juba Revue.”

The event showcases gifted local  artists paying tribute to classic music legends from Bessie Smith to Cab Calloway. The festivities begin at 6:00 PM with a VIP reception. Show time is set for 7:15 PM. The show will be presented at The Madame Walker Theatre Center Ballroom in downtown Indianapolis, 617 Indiana  Avenue, 46202.
